2004年，宇多田光發行她第一張超級精選 single collection vol.1，當年第一眼看到簡直不敢相信，這根本是IMMACULATE COLLECTION翻版，而且如此近似；除了主色淡粉藍一模一樣外，抬頭字體也是手寫，也採金色打樣，甚至連內頁紙質，歌詞字行都是金黃。如果說這是表示想要成為史上最暢銷精選最明目張膽模仿宣示，那麼日本EMI唱片公司可真是煞費苦心，而我其實也喜歡這樣的再造，彷彿一張全新『純淨精選』誕生，只不過它是日本版。
